Outlier coffee bar, is an integrated business and design concept. Collaborating with an existing coffee brand we set out to see how we could create a successful business together, by creating a brand identity from the inside of the business rather than just being an outside collaborator. I also became a financial partner in the coffee bar, so this also gave a different perspective to the project. The experiment timeline was 3 months. To see how the brand would develop and also rapid prototype elements to see how they would work, from digital marketing and subscription based models to the cliché signage systems that are tried and true.
It was a successful concept, which has now influenced further plans for the future. Plenty of coffee was bought and drunk!
